Please join us for our daylong conference on AVDA’s Battering Intervention and Prevention Program. Highlights include:
- “Accountability through Judicial Monitoring,” presented by Judge Chad D. Bradshaw, 300th District Court Associate Judge and DV Court Judge;
- “Community Supervision and Offender Accountability,” presented by Meghan Ryan, DV Court Supervision Officer, & Aida Garza, BIPP Facilitator/DV Court Member, Brazoria County;
- “The Intersection between Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence,” presented by Denise Mitchell, Fort Bend County Juvenile Probation, CORE Program Therapist; and
- “Working with Victims of DV,” presented by Maria Casco, AVDA Director of Advocacy Services, & Miriam Huerta, Client Advocate.
Continuing Education Units are provided with CJAD-approved hours for BIPP and Family Violence.
